These days it's not enough to know the guitar parts. You've got to nail the tone as well. In this video, I'll show you my most important guitar sounds for worship music and how I get them.

Pedals used : (Main pedalboard) Visual Sound Comp 66, Jackson Audio Fuzz, JHS Moonshine, Greer Light-speed, UAFX Dream 65, Dunlop Volume X, TC Polytune mini 3, Ibanez DE-7, Boss MD-500, Boss RV-500.
(Budget friendly pedalboard) Mooer Yellow Comp, Ibanez TS-9, Boss OD-3, Joyo American Sound, Dunlop Volume X, Flamma Mod, TC Flashback, Boss RV-6.

Great video! It brings me so much joy to see the older visual sound pedals on boards!!!! They’re getting more and more rare

Thanks Bro! You got me curious on the moonshine, was thinking of getting a TS9 after giving mine to my son, now going to start checking out the moonshine for my worship board. thanks for the video.

Thank you! This video is very helpful. Your tone is very nice! It is great that you showed similar tones on a cheaper pedal board. (I think a multi effects unit is a great option.)

For any up and coming worship guitar players, 1st: Learn your parts! 2nd: The Boss GX100 is a great all in one pedal option to get you started.

Great video! Stumbled upon it in my “suggested videos” and it caught my attention. Love the sounds you use, even gave me a couple ideas to add to my rig, so I appreciate you taking the time! Especially love the “squeaky clean” with the verb and delay—liked your use of the delay especially. Gotta say that I really love using cleaner tones with maybe a *little* drive (if not just clean altogether), but then my ceramic pickups kinda make everything sound a little hotter unless I roll my volume down a little anyway haha. But something about the cleaner tones with some longer hall or church verb, some echo or delay, just gets me. Great video again, blessings bro!

Dude vst amps/pedals are the exact same and way cheaper. you can program your sounds and with a click of a botton from you laptop can change them. Thats a lot of equpiment though lol your really good too.

Great video, Dave.

Having a good amp or IR pedal like the Strymon Iridum, Tonex, etc helps a lot too.

I may have missed you saying this, but are all of these sounds on the bridge pickup?

Im trying to learn how to play love on the line by hillsong, but I dont know what effects they use on that song does anyone know what pedals the guitar player used

You don't use any delay for your swells? I find it makes it much easier to maintain the swell for longer.

Also, I loved the pad sounds by turning the tone knob down. Definately going to use that.

Great video. Greetings from Mexico. One question, is it better to get multiple pedals or just get one multi effect processor pedal?

could you send the chaining of your pedal with lightspeed? is lightspeed first > TS type > Fuzz>

Nice! Like the finger raking picking method.

From the video description it would seem that you’re running the Dunlop volume after the amp sim on each board, does the Volume X work well for you in that spot? And are you using the tuner out!? (Gasp)

I’m shopping for a volume pedal for either after drives or after Dream and that one is one of the contenders.
