I like the trick where the lead eq is bumped and then you reverse it on the rhythms. Very clever idea!

Do more vids like this. Ton of players at home have no proper idea about recording and mixing and at some point they are very frustrated with scattered info about it on the internet. Speaking from experience hehe :D Love the vid, thank you.

Start the gain with zero (or almost zero), don't put too much extreme gain.

900 hz to 1.5khz for lead guitar voice.

-thanks for the tips bernth.

It's a good thing I went to school for Recording or I'd probably probably be spending most of my time trying to figure out what "DI" is xD

Good tutorial btw Bernth!

Dude! This was excellent knowledge to take in! I went to school for audio engineering and am also a guitarist. I wish ALL of my schooling had been like this haha. I learned some awesome techniques from this video. Super stoked about it.

Excellent video. I record a lot of instrumental music (lead guitar oriented) and need these type of tutorials. Almost every tutorial is vocal oriented. Please make a lot more of these video’s. Thanks.

@bernth your smile at 2:55 when the Kemper engages--it's good to see that even seasoned professionals can't help but enjoy distortion

Nice you're using the Nolly pack from Neural Dsp. I used that one and the Plini archetype for my tones.

By far my favorite plug-ins.

Also, great tips fellas!
