When God and his word are rejected we face the same challenges like France faced after making that decision. Atheism and all strange beliefs can never prosper. Only when Christ the Divine Son of God is lifted up, thats when he will draw all men unto him. Praise God for his Mercy and Grace to the Human Race.

I have loved this series and this channel so far, but I have a theological disagreement with the interpretation of Revelation 11. I have a hard time seeing the similarities between the text of that chapter and the events of the French Revolution.

It appears you are interpreting Revelation 11 from a historical perspective bringing the two witnesses into a metaphorical light where there doesn’t appear to be one.

I am simply arguing that the text of Revelation 11 is much more likely futurist than historical and literal than metaphorical as that’s how the text reads.

For example, the word “witness” is “martyr” in the Greek and that word is widely used to refer to people who die for a cause, which is how the text reads.

I’m learning so much about Church history from this series, thanks for making these!
