Great video. I got these for my SW MP 12. I didn't know about changing the rear sight to the larger aperture until I saw your video. Much appreciated!

Can’t wait for the range video. Hope you make a video on how you zero in the rifle.

Man I wish these came standard on my gun without me having to buy them separately.

Just got some, they're a good improvement over the gen2. They sit quite a bit lower and are also narrower.

Have the MBUS Pro's which are hard to deploy. Not impossible, but if I ever needed BUIS I'm expecting to not have time. This is the perfect balance of sleek and deployable, gonna grab a pair

Nice! I’m using Kriss USA metal folding sights bought on Primary Arms. They are adjustable without tools and affordable

Thanks for the closeup. Your pointing out the metal is more expensive - they are WWAAYYY more expensive. I bought a M&P10 308 and they have that rail on the front gas block. This PRO version has priced themselves out of my range. I put my money on a nice red/green dot and would put a scope on it before bowing to their extortion.

i just got the MBUS3 Rear sight on my Ruger 556...it looks almost the exact same as the ruger one that came with it...only reason i changed was because my buddy was firing it and didnt notice that the bolt holding it to the rail fell out and got lost in the dirt...60 dollar mistake

Your rear sight is wrong. When folded down it should match the smooth Contour above the charging handle. The aperture should be flush with the end of the receiver. This is why Magpul shaped them this way

Really wish you could install the anchor screw from either side of the sight. Had to remove my wml & pressure pad because you can only install from right to left.

Front sight post looks wider than my Magpul Pro sights.

Why can't you mount the front sight on the pic rail on the gas block? Will it melt it or what?

The elevation dial on my front sight is extremely stiff. It won't even budge.

These would not slide onto my XCR rail no matter how hard I tried. I actually broke the rear one and didn't bother for the front

How is your take on them now months after reviewing them? I am building my first AR and am looking at getting a set because I found a good deal

So should you zero these before the optic? Or does it not matter which gets zeroed first? I was going to bore sight them in like I did with an optic. Or should it just line up with the optic that is already zeroed?

I’m curious what did they actually change so if you could get the prior generation would it be better to save some money and get those or is it worth spending whatever the additional money is to get these? Also are these as durable as the prior generation?

Ill never buy another magpul sight. Bought the mbus 3 rear sight for my mil spec version of the psa sabre and its so tight that I cannot slide it on to the rail. Idk if I was unlucky and got a defect but it absolutely will not go on. First time buying a magpul sight and it has completely soured me to ever buying magpul again. Probably going to buy a Troy metal sight and be done with it. Not worth the headache just so it can be a "convenient" plastic sight....yeah I'm still angry about it haha
