Furries That Visit the Cabin
Показать описание
Introducing all the little furry critters that stopped by the cabin.
Welcome back to Virtual Meerkatting, where I share the fascinating wildlife encounters captured by my trail cameras in the bushveld near Modimolle (formerly Nylstroom) in the North of South Africa. In this video, titled “Furries that Visit the Cabin,” I’ve captured some amazing footage of various furry animals that paid a visit to the cabin.
First, we have a solitary black tailed mongoose, a rare and elusive creature in the bushveld. Shortly after, a group of banded mongooses arrives, scratching around for food before moving on. The cabin then receives an unexpected guest—a blue monkey! This is a surprising sighting, as the area is typically baboon territory, and they don’t usually allow monkeys around. Finally, a shy little squirrel makes an appearance. This squirrel lives in the tree where I placed the camera, and it took three weeks to capture this first footage of the very elusive furry.
This video offers a unique glimpse into the diverse wildlife that inhabits the bushveld. From the solitary black tailed mongoose to the unusual visit from a blue monkey, and the patience it took to capture the shy squirrel, each moment is a testament to the wonders of nature in South Africa.
