As someone with curly hair, I'll give you two advices : don't restrict yourself to products marketed for curly hair, and don't fear silicones. It's all marketing and fear mongering. You can keep the products you used before and just add a curling cream/gel. And again, dont fear silicones, they condition and protect the hair from friction, humidity, breakage ect. Good luck!

I know this is an old video, but could you record how your hair is cut? Something I could show my hairdresser to explain how I want my hair cut. I always have trouble with this and I'm never happy with the result. Your hair has several layers and looks great. I don't know if you cut it yourself or if you have a hairdresser that good.
