I definitely agree with Alfie. I work in a loud environment and sometimes I’ll just come home and sit in silence for hours. Just doing menial tasks around the house in total silence is just the best thing after being inundated with noise all day long.

I agree with Alfie, silence is underrated now a days. I honestly feel like most people would benefit from every now and then sitting in silence and either relaxing and meditating or thinking about things without distractions. I know in the past when I wouldn’t take time for it I would always have my best thinking time when I was in the shower and I realized it was because that was the only time I wouldn’t be distracted with something else. I also believe some people are afraid of silence because they don’t like confronting their thoughts (Which I understand) but I swear it helps with healing and growth if you take the time to work through things like trauma and sadness.
