What Happened to the Pyramids of Cuba? 20 Years Later | Ancient Architects

Pyramids, as you well know, are a global phenomena in the ancient world and although archaeologists may well have explored the most prominent examples, we can only guess how many more are yet to be discovered, whether in the dense jungle of the Amazon, swallowed up by water after the construction of dams or maybe even submerged on the continental shelf.

And this brings me to a popular subject that often comes up in comments, and that’s the pyramids of Cuba, apparently shown on sonar images in the early 21st century.

I remember these pyramidal like structures getting attention long before I started the Ancient Architects channel. The pictures look impossible to refute – they could only be man-made pyramids, surely? So now, in the year 2021 – 20 years on – what happened to the lost pyramids of Cuba?

I remember this being a huge deal back in the day. Tied in with a whole bunch of underwater ruins and anomalies between The Bahamas and Cuba. It was hyped up to be a major discovery, then...nothing.

I believe it's intriguing enough to warrant more investigation and if it's one thing we have learnt over the last century it's unwise to make assumptions about the past especially when it's geological. The movement of land masses isn't always a gradual process like once believed.

I am not a geologist, but I've seen theories that the enormous weight of the ice before Younger Dryas caused the tectonic plates to warp, raising the sea bed all the way to the triple-joint near the Azores, where co-incidentally there is allegedly another pyramid.

Dark Journalist Daniel Liszt has done a massive amount of research on this topic in his X Series. The area is called 'The Hot Zone' and it also covers Bimini and the Bermuda Triangle. It's one very deep rabbit hole loaded with mystery and intrigue for those who have the time available to research it thoroughly. Believe it or not, it even involves the Hemingway's and the Kennedy's. The woman most closely involved with leading the deep sea research was Paulina Lezitsky. I believe Daniel has her lined up for an interview sometime soon. Some of Daniels research and fact finding is pretty out there and not to everyone's tastes, but he's an incredibly intelligent and ethical journalist and researcher.

Always wondered what happened to this... the updates were painstakingly nonexistent., and the silence certainly suspicious. Especially during a time when that entire Cuba area was speculated to have traces of a lost civilisation, and links to Atlantis, as proclaimed by Andrew Collins himself. ADC also discovered the USS Maine off the coast of Havana and videoed that as well. Pauilna also has stated that when they first discovered the anomaly there was a huge mysterious submarine on the site that left the area. This made her think that it was a huge submarine base. Robert Schoch stated 20 years ago that the site does at the minimum warrant further investigation. Here's more info from an internet article at that time.

The expedition made up of Canadian and Cuban scientists working on the "Exploramar" project, dedicated to the search for shipwrecks, found signs of a human settlement. The discovery took place 650 m. deep in the Caribbean Sea, between the Cuban peninsula of Guanahacabibes and the Mexican region of Yucatan. The discovery used an underwater robot equipped with cameras, lights and sonars.

To really make sure that it is a submerged city, research is being carried out on board the ship "Ulises", of the Cuban Academy of Sciences.

This has recently been equipped with state-of-the-art technology by the company Advanced Digital Communications (ADC), and one of the technical improvements it incorporates into the research are the wider visual field cameras.




The location of these remains, which belonged to a submerged city for thousands of years, promises a great archaeological discovery to explain the American past.

The author of this discovery is the ocean engineer Paulina Zelitsky, a Soviet expert – canadian nationalized – who during the Cold War was dedicated to the construction of secret submarine bases, and who currently works doing civil engineering works and topography of the ocean floor. A few years ago, Zelitsky achieved some notoriety in the media by locating the remains of the Maine, whose sinking sparked the Spanish-American War of 1998. The ship was located about five kilometers from the coast of Havana and almost a thousand meters deep. Zelitsky's team was able to show impressive footage of the wreck site.

This researcher reported the discovery of a large plateau of earth with clear traces of what appear to be huge human-made architectural structures partially covered by sand. From above, the shapes are reminiscent of pyramids, streets and buildings. Unsurprisingly, this finding sparked the imagination of those who believe in the existence of Atlantis.

It has been confirmed that the stones found were cut, carved and polished to make them fit with each other and thus form larger structures. Very little is known about the strange inscriptions, some of them similar to Egyptian hieroglyphs, except that they are very abundant and are found in almost all parts of the site. Symbols and drawings have also appeared whose meaning is unknown.



Most of the major television networks in various countries are waiting for this unprecedented material to be provided. Fortunately, Paulina Zelitsky provided the journalist and researcher Luís Mariano Fernández with no media outlets that have had them or have broadcast them – the first images recorded by her underwater video camera.
