i bought a 2021 Legion 5 Pro R5 5600H RTX 3060 for 700$ on ebay. i picked it up in person and checked everything. It looks like new (has been used with external monitor mouse+keyboard) the battery has still 78, 5Wh /80Wh. I think if you can get a used one for less then half the price, you should do it. The new ones are just more expensive while being 10-20% faster!!

5:04 Actually, DDR5 RAM is dual channel with one stick and quad channel with two sticks. That's different compared to DDR4 and earlier.

Bought the 2023 model a few weeks ago on a Spring sale with an i9, 32gb and 4070. This laptop is great.

I went with the 4070, 14900hx, 2 TB SSD and 32 GB RAM variant. Was only $1500 from Best Buy. Would have been happy with the lesser option but it was the same price.

Comparing the stickers is crazy. My 2024 has stickers that are on straight. I don't understand your complaint, other than you don't have much to talk about.

You also only mentioned one of the 4 models in the 5i pro family.

I'd say the biggest change is the fan grate on the bottom.

You are mistaken when it comes to sodimm RAM. They are able to run two channels via one RAM stick.

Newer model is also 100% sRGB accurate and comes with a higher screen brightness.
