If you have the City Living expansion pack, then you can add the 'On Ley Line' lot trait to your lot, and this will increase the chance of twins or triplets. This is a great method to use as it's effective and takes seconds to action.

Finally fertility massages from the Spa Day game pack, and brewing and drinking an elixir of fertility made available from the Outdoor Retreat Game Pack will also increase the chance of giving birth to twins or triplets.

When I first started going for a boy, my Sim ate a few carrots and occasionally listened to alternative, and it worked only half the time. Then I grew my own carrots and had the parent eat nothing but carrots during the pregnancy AND listen to alternative music WHILE eating the carrots. Never fails. Even when I had twins, they were both boys.

I have played this game vigorously for years on end, first on PC then on console (my PC broke), and I have NEVER had triplets. I honestly can’t help but think that my game is broken, yes, on both my PC and PS4 because why else would I never have any?
I don’t want to use cheats because it turns off the ability to earn achievements and also I like to be surprised by the outcome. This is a thing in the game that low key pisses me off. My first time trying to have a baby in Sims 3 I had triplets, and I didn’t even know that was possible back then.
