Peter Falk was a legend. Columbo is a classic I discovered late in life. Better late than never though. Looks like a great set. Columbo mistaken for being homeless was great! Glad you mentioned that hilarious bit.

a key part of the series you overlooked(or failed to mention ) is that often when you see the planning of the murder and process, , a how the murderer craftingly covers their tracks and confidently eliminate clues (in their mind)...i remember wondering how will columbo ever figure this out ...and in some cases slap my head realising what clues I missed in the begining..im a huge, ,huge fan

i have the japanese blu ray set, ,completely and wonderfully remastered, ,the image and audio is unreal, , i never imagined bettering the previous dvd set was possible ..expensive but too me worth every penny

my favorites are- a friend in deed, death lends a hand, greenhouse jungle, double exposure, stitch in crime, troubled waters, forgotten lady, old fashioned murder, Columbo Goes to the Guillotine, Agenda for Murder, Uneasy Lies the Crown, Caution: Murder Can Be Hazardous to Your Health, undercover, strange bedfellows, ,,these are must watch to me, but i could easilly add 5 more from the 70's

i havent heard of this one before, thanks for the share! seems like the show is free in its entirety on peacock so i plan to check it out there, great video

the studio wanted it to be a weekly series and falk refused to agree to this, , as he didnt want to water down the series due to time constraints, he wanted to build the character, so 'murder by the book ' was really a crucial make or break episode .

I am not sure if you consider it as good as series that being said do you have the Mrs. Colombo complete Seriesi set ? I know a couple of those episodes were on various seasons of the Colombo releases I picked up this sets from Amazon UK and thought it was pretty interesting
