Use this command if you want to find the wifi password to the network you are connected to.

There’s a much easier way. Open control panel go to networks, click on the network you want the password to, go in to properties, then into security and click show password.

What I've done before is to go to a previously connected WiFi on my phone, tap to share WiFi which displays a QR, then scan that QR with an ordinary scanner app -- it shows the full WiFi details including name and password. 🔥

1. Right click your WiFi and click "Open Network & Internet settings

2. Change adapter options

3. Click your WiFi

4. Click "Wireless Properties"

5. Click "Security" Tab

6. Check "Show characters" box and you'll see your password 🔑

U didnt clear some thing for the kiddos watching, u can only find a wifi passwd only if u have already connected to it, if ur on cable it doesnt work

Only works if you have connected to that WiFi previously. If you haven't, then enjoy the mission of looking on the bottom of your router for the password.

People are saying there's an easier way but it's buried so deep in the menus I gave up and wrote a small app that runs this exact command, parses the key, and just displays a message with it.
