😂as a cpc instructor, my own cpc expired recently which meant I was unable to drive a truck. Last month i sat for two days listening to a fellow instructor. He gave me the same information that i gave him the previous week. The same videos and the same written and verbal material. This cost both of us two days of lost income and meant two people were unable to fill the seats. A complete waste of time.

Passed my HGV class one 4 days after my 21st birthday, I’m 52 now.
I’ve driven all over the world for many years.
The CPC corses I’ve done are the same old 💩 I did the first time round.
Complete waste of time & money.

Currently got my theory (which includes a CPC module I suppose) on Monday and then my practical lessons and tests sometime in mid-December or January I suppose, I assume this won't affect me right?

Hello mate, quick question and hopefully you will see this in time. I recently passed my class 2 in an automatic. But I passed my cat B in a manual. By law am I allowed to drive a 7.5t manual?

Not enough has been done to reform the CPC. It's totally ridiculous to still have to do 35 hours of training. You don't learn anything new (unless you are doing something like ADR for the first time) and - even at 3 1/2 hours - it's still 10 sessions. This was a missed opportunity to bring about a positive change. It's basically a load of box ticking rubbish.

CPC is a waste of time money making scheme ! That’s why shortage of hgv drivers all the old boys don’t need to be schooled when many done 30tears plus on the roads !! Taxi drivers should be governed more there driving awful Uber drivers especially

Its a joke i passed my hgv earlier in the year and to get my cpc was multiple choices test 1.5h ish and a 1h walk round. But after i have done 5 years of driving i have to do 35hrs 🤷‍♂️

CPC load of rubbish. Money scam, I drove in Canada and them drivers are very experienced and knowledgeable of the transport industry and no bullshit courses.

Why do we have to do this in our own time, when any other industry would be paid over time, yet again we’re treated like something you stud in 😢

I think a professional hgv driver should not have Todo a CPC it’s nowt but money making robbing us drivers out of money
How can you forget things when you have been driving years I think it’s a complete waste of time
First past drivers should do it
But I think most of hgv drivers think it’s a WASTE of time

Should me made to do 70 hours .Far too many drivers now and standards are crap furthermore it's all about suppressing the wages..Why not just give everyone a class one 1 when you pass your car test.absolute tossers
