I thought it was cruel to the viewer to lead them down a road and make them care about these characters only to kill them in the end. Showrunner is a heartless person.

Theory time: Jamie is actually related to the Dutton Family. Jamie’s grandfather is the son of the widow whom Spencer shacked up with. This is why John III took Jamie in and called him “son”. John II asked John III to take care of his half brother’s grandson after Garret Randal was incarcerated.

I felt ripped off.. my time wasted..
Just binged both seasons to have it all pulled out from under you in the last half hour? All those story lines that went no where.. two years of travel, one gun fight and 'poof!' its over. or dead.. ...What about the native plotline? Why was that even there? Hated it.

It's lazy writing on Sheridan's part to string together improbable events only to kill off the lead actress. What a waste! Have some respect for your audience.
