The financial cost for US might sound high but it is actually quite cheap for all the military knowledge they get against Russia military (and its allies)

All this shows one benefit of this war for the US army, being able to test out its weapons systems against their intended opponent without having to fight a direct war. They can see how effective it is in real combat, what works and what doesn't

Something else that I thinnk is relevent is that US advisers have to providing the training required to operate this equipment and is a testament to their teaching skills and also the Ukraine soldiers ability to rapidly learn that these are being implemented so rapidly and with such devestating effect.

A very underrated component is intelligence gathering. What makes America unique is the fact that we train and develop weapons based on the information gathered from the enemy. We know how the enemy is fighting and what they are fighting with. Almost every plan America sets in motion militarily has been practiced and studied over and over and over again. Anything Russia has we already know about and we have the tool to counter it.

I was a 27E in the Army's Ordnance Corps 20 years ago. I worked on the TOW, Javelin, ITAS and Dragon missile systems. In short, I made them shoot straight. The sights on the Javelin are just like a video game - there's actually a "game" in the Javelin sights for gunners to practice on without actually firing any ordnance. I'd hate to be on the receiving end of one of these things

Americans finding out about the Javelin AFTER the Ukraine war… lol almost every teenager that’s played call of duty since the first Modern Warfare knows what a Javelin is… that means a lot of Americans in their late 20’s and early 30’s knowing EXACTLY what a Javelin is.

The weird thing is we've already developed counters to all of these weapons we've made. Perfect example U.S. Military Deploys Drone-Busting Microwave Weaponry we originally made that tech for crowd dispersion, but it ended up working out for other things. I would say China lacks this level of logistics as well, but with them, I believe they would just commandeer every commercial plane nationwide and convert them as needed for equipment and troop movement. This is why the best bet for the US in the pacific is to lease the Australians the early block Virginia class submarines, reverse the law and lease the f-22s to Japan instead of early retirement. This would at least keep China busy for a while in a conflict. Then I would take all current f16s, f18s, f15s, m1 tanks, perry class frigates etc; do refurbishment, and lease it to the Balkans, Philippines, Singapore, Poland, Thailand, and any other country we trust enough who is currently getting bullied by China or Russia. At the very least, it gives all of those countries a standard technology to coordinate and communicate with each other's defense.
