Thank you for all the way you explain this disease.. So understandable!! I am in the process of getting diagnosed after issues for over 50 yrs.. I am 66 yrs old.. I too have it in my abdomen and my butt is huge.. My butt is killing my back.. Trying to get approved for the compression pumps for my legs.. In the learning phase.. Your short videos are truly so helpful.. It is all so overwhelming.. Short and to the point is so helpful.. Bits of info at a time so it can be absorbed..

Thank you for the video. I’ve had Lipedema in my arms and legs since puberty (age 11). But I always had flat stomach until I got older. Strange how we all have the same body shape.

Thank God for YouTube! This is extremely helpful and wow, I can't believe the sense it makes. Especially the nodules under the skin, I never could get an answer for that. Massage, swimming and low inflammatory foods definitely do help. If one gets a diagnosis properly, changes lifestyle with documentation then Insurance may help with surgeries, wow!!! Thank you Dr. And these brave patients for being so open and sharing!

I saw a post of someone getting diagnosed with lipedema a few months ago, that's how I found out about it and that's how I knew I had it. I got my diagnosis about a month ago and I'm glad to say I finally got to name my "fat lower body" .. but it gor me thinking, cause about a year ago I went to get checked because I found a nodule and got scared thinking it might be something bad. They checked it with an ultrasound and the doctor said that my abdomen is completely filled with small "fat balls".. and now I've come with the conclusion that it is all probably connected 😱
