HmHt would you say that macOS 11.1 official release performs better than macOS 11.0 BETA. I have a 2017 MacBook Pro 15 inch and since I got Big Sur my Mac has been running hotter than normal under light use. Is 11.1 better is these regards?

Also, about the developer folder, I think it’s not for any random folder named “Developer, ” but for the system-made folder named “developer”. The glyph will only appear if you are using the folder made by macOS, but you can always customise the icon manually!

developer folder will not have the icon as you mentioned I guess because I tried and did not happen. It is showing to you as you already have a developer profile I guess.
