I absolutely love the old maps!
I think one of the best "hidden gems" not being fully utilized...is doing exactly what you are doing.
Translating the texts from the old maps that were written in Italian, Spanish, Latin etc
I tried to do it myself, by writing down each word and then using a translation app,
but it was painfully slow and so I gave up. Since I am the complete opposite of "Tech Savvy"
I much prefer your method. It's way quicker to do it your way so!!
