Excellent review. I've had mine for 6 months. I'm a sleep apnea patient who uses a cpap machine to assist with breathing. I bought the O2 ring to make sure the cpap therapy is working: when I stop breathing, my O2 level drops and heart rate spikes, and the O2 ring shows me when (the exact time) that happens and how many times per night it happens. So I know whether to dial up the pressure setting on my cpap machine.

I think my finger width/circumference is about average for a guy and I find it hard to fit on my thumb or index finger, so I wear it on my pinky finger where it fits very comfortably and securely, and I get consistent readings during the night time. The circumference of my pinky finger is probably not too much different than that of a female's thumb or index finger, so I think I'm okay wearing the O2 ring on my pinky. (Another benefit - I look like Joe Peschi in Goodfellas!) (kidding!)

The O2 ring works well with VI Health as you say, but there's another app I prefer: it's called SleepO2. It does pretty much everything that VI Health does, but I like the interface a bit better. Anyway, it's free for iPhone (and maybe Android? not sure), so why not try both and pick the one you like best.

I don't need to monitor my SPo2 levels every single night, so I sleep with my O2 ring only about 5 nights per month. But I really do value the information. Anyone who has sleep problems, not just sleep apnea, can benefit from the data the O2 ring provides.

I recommend it. Just buy from a seller that has a no hassle return policy, because some folks have had problems getting faulty units, or units that stopped working after a couple weeks. Mine's going strong after 6 months.

Thank you, I could not get mine to display data in the app until I watched your video. You clearly explained the process (Take the ring off) which I missed in the three other videos that I watched.

Best review that I've seen so far for this product.

I use a CPAP every night and I have it set on APAP mode. I have virtually no AHI episodes during my sleep. My oxygen level has so many drops. Sometimes down to 82%. 7.5 drops per hour. In 6 hours 47 drops over 4%. O2 score is low, 6.2. Aver PR is good, 61. Who do I contact about these problems? I am wondering if I take the CPAP off APAP and put it on CPAP mode and increase the constant pressure a bit if that will help. I am going to try it but I need help in understanding why my O2 levels drops so much while sleeping. Thanks.

Hi, thank you so much for the video information, I have my grandma with the Epoc condition and this is the best thing that I hear to check my grandma oxygen levels, my question is when vibrates is in the ring or in the cell phone ??? Is because I sleep with her and I have to wake up to check her

Thank you for doing this, i am using it to wake me up if my oxygen drops as it would if i stop breathing as I have sleep apnea etc. How do we know how to set the threshold for PR and Sp02?

Hi. What is the difference between oxylink and o2ring by the same makers? Would you know?

You said you were scrolling with a magnifying glass? Is that an iPhone you're using or an Android? I can scroll in on the Samsung Galaxy S10 but don't seem to have that white line with the data that follows as I scroll.

Why is my iPhone XR Bluetooth not finding my O2 Ring? My data doesn’t come over to app when I remove the ring after sleeping. HELP please!

How about rubbing alcohol to clean it?
