Homemade Pumpkin Purée + Pumpkin Spice Recipe!🎃

In the US canned pumpkin puree is everywhere—because we make so much out of pumpkin in the fall. Well, in Germany, pumpkin flavored and pumpkin spiced things aren't so common—especially out in the villages where I live.
So we make it ourselves! Fresh is always better anyways.

Here’s how to make your own:

1️⃣ Pumpkin Purée
- Cut a small pie pumpkin in half, scoop out the seeds, and roast at 180°C (350°F) for 45-60 mins.
- Once soft, scoop out the flesh and blend until smooth. Super easy!

2️⃣ Pumpkin Spice
- Mix together 3 tbsp ground cinnamon, 2 tsp ginger, 2 tsp nutmeg, 1 ½ tsp allspice, and 1 ½ tsp cloves. Store in an airtight jar for all your fall treats! Personally I keep mine in my coffee 😉
