Показать описание
A Living Will is described as as "a document in which a person states his/her desire to have or not to have extraordinary life-prolonging measures used, when recovery is not possible from his/her terminal condition".
After years of debate, the government has come up with a draft bill that will make passive euthanasia or a LIVING Will legal. This is increasingly important, because advancement in medical science can keep you technically alive, for years, even when you are in a vegetative state with no hope of recovery. Should you have the right to Die with Dignity in such a situation?
Dr Suren Dhelia and Mr R N Bhaskar speak on a Living Will, the Right to Die with Dignity and issues such as Active & Passive Euthanasia, Medical Power of Attorney.
