4 Replacements for Buttermilk #Shorts

Don't you hate it when you are making a recipe that calls for buttermilk and you don't have any in the house? Arg! Not to worry, these 4 replacements will save the day! These ideas are substitutions for 1 cup of Buttermilk. If you need less or more just scale these ideas up or down by the measurement needed. #shorts #entertainingwithbeth #cookinghacks

For example:
1 cup buttermilk= 1 cup milk + 1 Tbsp Plain White Vinegar. Need 1/2 cup buttermilk? Use 1/2 cup of milk and 1 1/2 tsp of vinegar and so on! Happy Baking!

I just learned this from YTuber Ben Starr that you can replenish your supply of buttermilk by adding any kind of milk to your remaining leftover buttermilk. Leave it out room temp for a while until it gets thick, then refrigerate until ready for use. Excited for your Chocolate Donuts recipe, Beth I've got buttermilk on hand!!
