As a bedrock player, I found it humorous about how Luke disrespected our Withers like that. Showing even that small level of confidence? He had it coming. It was inevitable.

You know, if you think about it, Playing Bedrock Edition as a seasoned Java player is really like picking up Minecraft for the first time again. Everything is new and strange and scary.

As a bedrock player I was always confused why people weren't normally scared of fighting the wither, now i understand why, and I laugh at your pain

"I mined at night for the sake of efficiency. I know the ancient hymns are against this."
the best reference luke has ever made in a 100 Days

You can change the GUI to "Classic" in the settings, which changes it so that the hearts/hunger are in the same as in Java edition. It also changes the inventory to be as in Java.

The few things that have helped me the most when playing on my phone is enabling cross hairs (split constrols), upping the sensitivity and FOV a bit, swapping jump and sneak - this way you can jump and change where you're looking at the same time, lower render distance, and changing the GUI style from 'pocket' to 'classic' (I just like how it looks)
I haven't found a way to stop my phone from heating up, tho

Edit: y'all it's fine if you play with different settings! This is just what I prefer

“I mined at night, for the sake of efficiency I know the ancient hymns are against it” is the most nostalgic thing about this entire video

Gotta love how bedrock wither just zips through blocks, instantly breaking everything it touches.

As a PE player there is definitely a learning curve. Pro tip:
enlarge the dpad and up the sensitivity.
Also change field of view and keep render distance low. The lag is too real.

I would recommend fighting the wither in the open area, so you can run and he won’t cause so much lag. Also, end crystals work really well if you know how to use them

As a Xbox bedrock player I finally feel validated that the wither is absolute powerhouse. I’ve lived to long watching java players violate the wither over and over again when it took me 2 siblings and a best friend to barely him once on bedrock. I can die happy.

Some tips for MCPE:

1)You can turn on split controls in settings>touch it will help you by giving you a cursor in the middle of the screen just like java

2)You can turn on show coordinates in settings just scroll down right side of the screen

3)You can switch to classic UI which will make your inventory better buy going to settings>video scroll down and click on pocket then click classic

4) You can change button size in Settings>touch

I hope this helps

Btw, if you activate split controls under touch settings, it changes so there's a cross hair in the center of the screen, which is always your target, and you can press anywhere on the screen to interact with whatever is on the center. It's a little easier to see what you're doing.

I'm a full time pocket edition player on a pad
And watching Luke Struggle is rather funny to me because I'm so use to playing like it 😂
I really like the video 👍
Well done!
