In let’s go pikachu, you have a 50 percent chance to male or female but in let’s go Eevee you have a 11.8 perfect chance to get a female.

I think I'm going to enjoy this series. I have never actually played a Pokemon game. I'm a big fan of the show though. I know you are a little bit against it, but perhaps it would help if you did give your Pikachu a unique name, to remember that she is a girl and take your mind off thinking of Ash's pikachu. I hope you enjoy this game, it looks fun

Ok, some notes:
1) I hated how every other LPer simply made stupid jokes with naming Rival. You actually based in on yourself, and it makes perfect sense, AND is also a realistic name. So, I like. Yes, Zebra and Lion are fantsy names, but it's realistic fantasy. Not stupid jokes. And I'm happy you took the naming seriously like that.
2) Unfortunatly, the Joy Con in your room is blue in both versions. Would have been a great reference if it was red in the other version. Missed opportunity.
3) If you change your mind, you can actually change your pokemon nicknames any time you want to, right in the menu. That is something that wasn't a thing in the older games, you hac to find a special NPC. But now, it's simple.
I would personally recommend you give nicknames, or at least give a name to Pikachu.
4) There are no wild pokemon battles in this game. Just wild pokemon catching.
You can only battle trainers.
I'm honestly surpriced you didn't know that. Your avoidance of research and going into games as blind as possible.
5) and don't forget to dress up your Pikachu, that would be cute.
