Not even to mention, that if men were writing it to glorify and uplift themselves, the disciples would NOT have allowed their flaws to be so pertinently present in the gospel accounts, like fleeing at Jesus’ crucifixion, or women being the first witnesses to the empty tomb

The problem they don’t understand is this: they look at Christian wives submitting to their husbands and assume they play some sort of subservient role. That’s only half true. The husband relies JUST as much on the wife as she does him to raise a good family. Equally important, but they play different roles.

A friend of mine recently told me the Bible is “sexist” because women are told to submit to their husbands.

We discussed what men are supposed to do for their wife’s, “love your wife as Christ loved the church.”

What did Christ do for “the church?”

He died for it.

Submit vs. be willing to sacrifice yourself for… seems a little unfair but okay.

The bible was not 100% written by men (and for men). Many of the earliest witnesses to Jesus Resurrection were actually women. The vast majority of those who supported Jesus and wanted to hear his message were Women. Women played a huge role in spreading the gospel. An as Galatians 3:28, their is neither Jew nor Greek, Male nor FEMALE . . . For we are all Christ.

Edit: I meet to say that the bible was not narrated entirely from men. Rather that many of the narrations, written mostly by men (possibly women), were from Women. Her semantics make me state a comment like this.

2. Monogamy is enforced and polygamy is illegal in the New Testament

It was the "yes" of Mary that set in to motion the salvation of all humanity, it was through her that the Lord came into our world to save it. In my opinion, that makes a woman the highest point of all creation.

If the authors cared about their image at the time they wouldn't have the first witnesses to the resurrection be women who then had to tell the men what they saw.

Really shows the perspective for how a lot of people in the modern era, they actually do live in the viewpoint that its men vs women in society. Which is such a shame, society needs men and women, both are vital
