How to make a No-Oven Skillet Pizza

Most homes have a conventional oven. What if yours doesn't? I once lived in a small efficiency apartment with only a two-burner stove, no oven. You can make a delicious pizza with a crisp crust using a skillet. This trick is especially useful on hot summer days when you don't want an oven adding more heat to your home. You can even bake pizza while camping by using the skillet over the camp fire.

Just made this pizza this afternoon with my 10 year old Grand-daughter, I measured she mixed and kneaded the crust it turned out to be one of the best pizza I have made. We all loved it. Thank you

Very nice recipe, and I love the idea of using the IP as a proofing box. You can, if you have a large cast iron skillet or griddle, crisp the toppings by heating the cast iron rocket hot on the stovetop and then when you have the pizza cooked and still in the original skillet on the countertop, rest the hot iron on the top of the skillet. The radiant heat will brown the toppings. Thanks Dennis!

Wow that looks good, definitely doing this as it is in the 90's here.
When I print recipes from my archive and look at weights I often chuckle... knowing they are yours even before I read the attribution and so much appreciate the proper way.
Almost bought an air fryer this week and looked up the model(s) you have. Still on the fence but got a new Roomba, you'll see the empty box in the emailed pic of the fly strip I just sent, instead for now.

A bit humorous, you splaining flour and water relationship for bread dough. Over the years I've watched every one of your bread making videos at least once and many of them several times. I've made all sorts of bread following your ingredients to the gram and methods to the letter. I've yet to have a failure with any of your breads. The "proof" of your understanding for flour and water in bread dough is your mastery of the craft. That's a fine looking pizza. Thanks for sharing.

The best tip you gave me was to measure flour by weight Dennis. I measure everything by weight now. Sooo much easier.
