Your hollyhocks look great. They seem to like the weather in Tucson.

Yes, gardening is definitely a learn as you go kind of thing. We all have fails & successes. I love learning from others & sharing what I have learned & know. Your garden looks LOVELY & can't wait to see the future success the gardening life has to offer you😊😊

So excited to stumble across your channel this morning!!!! I'm way out in the desert in northwest Tucson, dry, brutally hot with frequent violent and destructive winds. Sure doesn't look like you are a novice...your garden is gorgeous!!!! Will be bingeing now on all your videos, anxious to see all you've accomplished!

I am new, too. I am studying the soil food web, soil biology, and some hydrodynamics. I have a nice microscope to check bacteria and fungus levels (some time to learn that skill would be nice! but, it's coming!). I have found some sources that, if they are right, the best things you can do for your garden actually take the least amount of work. I am experimenting with stuff, and would be very happy to share the exciting things I am learning. (Of course, I say this with your yard looking amazing! and mine still in prep! LOL)

We're in Tucson too, had our garden for about 3 years now. We planted some exotic plants this year like purple tomatillos and a few other

Wow! What an amazing garden. I've tried my hand at growing vegetables in Tucson a few times and swiss chard is about the only success. How do you manage the rabbits here? They are like Houdini and get into everything through the smallest spaces. The soil, heat, etc makes it such a challenge. You make it look easy. Wish I could come and have you mentor me!

I'm curious how well the moringa trees did. Mine died in the winter, so I'm going with native legume trees instead. Moringa trees seem to work well as annuals, but not as the overstory tree.
