Awesome, no one I researched online explains it so fast and to the point, specially a step child petition. Thank You!.
Suggestion: no one explains how to File online for the step child, I will explain: When you do the petition for the beneficiary (in my case the mother) online it only allows you to do (work on) the beneficiary one (I-30) petition, meaning that it would not let you handle a separate I-30 for the step child in that page or log in. It would seem that you have to create a separate online log in to fill the I-30 for the step child, yes a different log in from the original you created to petition the beneficiary, for if you use the same log in that you used for they beneficiary there is no way to do it, there is no separate area to do it, unless you erase the beneficiary's petition information which you obviously do not want to do.

Can I submit a petition for my step father. He and my mother has been together for 19 years and I was 15 when they legally got married?

My husband who has petitioned for his brother has married and has two step children. Both children are under the age of 17. One was accepted but the other was not. The rejection indicates missing proof of the relationship. Through the inquiry form we have submitted an inquiry to the rejection and added the marriage certificate and birth certificate of the child as proof of the relationship. Can you please advise what I can do or submit to have the child added. We have made about a dozen attempts and each time it gets rejected. Is there a number I can call ? I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Hi, you say the stepchild has to be younger than 18 by the time you marry, but the USCIS page says any child UNDER 21 can be included in the petition but their visa will be K2, please confirm the information that is on the USCIS webpage. Thank you

My wife As a US citizen and step mother to my son who lives overseas has filed I-130 for him in june 25 2022 .My wife and I got married in september 2008 while my son at the time was 16 years old. I got married in 2008, my biological daughter is american. She was 7 and my husband( the stepfather) and I were together since she was 2. We stayed married for many years and we divorced in 2015. They always had a relationship as " daughter and dad" and he took care of her emotionately, financialy, a real dad. Even when we were divorced, he took care of her as a father. In 2020, she was 18 and we ( me and the stepfather) started a relationship again and in 2022 we got married again . The point is that we got married twice, when she was a child and then whe she was 21. My question is, if we prove the relationship they always had as dad and daughter, even when we were divorced, would this work?
