Wow! This is so much better than making many layers and trying to match their positions, styles, etc. and animate them at the same time. This technique lets you automate the process a lot. And the theoretical part is also important. I never thought about what a range selector is and that you can duplicate them for a single animation to use for different parts of the text. Cool tutorial. Thank you for it.

I thought range selectors weird stupid and the same thing could just be accomplished by putting keyframes on all the properties of text in premiere. But then i fiddled with them after watching some of this and realized its actually geniusly powerful.

In using the range selector do I need to click on the stopwatch beside the end and start? If not, what is the function of the stopwatch beside them?
