Learning how to use Kanai's cube is important for converting your arcane dust, reusable parts, and veiled crystals. You can also convert any gem into topaz, diamond, emerald, amethyst, or ruby. You should also understand how augmenting ancient items works because you can get some serious stat boosts (Caldesann's Despair).

One point about "EXTRACT LEGENDARY POWER:" once you've extracted it, you have to click that box in the Kani's Cube and select the power that you extracted. I guess you can extract many different powers, but you can only have one active power from a weapon, one from an armor and one from the last area (jewelry?) at a time. It took me a while to figure that out. Also, if you leave the game and come back later, your Act 5 bounties will change. The first few times I tried, I constantly had to go against Malthael...and in the bounties, Malthael is hard. Keep checking back in until a different bounty shows up. It will happen. Be patient.
