The main reason to start in Story Mode imo is just that it slowly teaches you your character. Adventure Mode can be selected immediately and gives a lot of tangible rewards, but I get to level 70 and feel like I barely know my character's potential. Story Mode drip-feeds you at a pace which is perhaps more conducive to some people learning, , myself included.

Perfect.This is exactly what I was looking for- a comprehensive explanation for beginners with tips and explanations about the game, its systems/classes and some of the terminologies as well as game play. This video is much more helpful than anything else I've found- as many other videos say "for beginners" but don't give enough information about the fundamentals. I'm sure I could figure the game out eventually, but you just saved me a ton of time. Thanks for that...
