saw Pat at Lake Conroe for the Toyota Texas Bass Classic last night!

Pat made some great music when it was done on his own. Then he got the deals and the money and the people forking out the money changed what it was that made him successful in the first place. It has been proven that you can make a damned good living and never leave this state!

I had wished he'd said something about going back to his roots or the like. I'm not convinced the "old" Pat Green referenced in other posts is going to ever come back, even if he did leave The Man.

his last couple of cd's were complete trash. i really hope he can turn it around and give us some good music.
