**UPDATE** i slightly misspoke when talking about the exotic helmets. the cage helmet isn't exactly the same as the Beret. The cage helmet does give and extra shrapnel proc but doesn't get double from a crit. so Beret is better because u can get 4 shrapnel hits while cage will only give you 3. Gas mask Is technically better than Beret only if ur running mods like explosive shrapnel. for this particular build with targeted strike Beret will be better. Lastly i forgot to mention the mod i use on the crossbow. I use Gold Vulnerability Amplifier. my apologies. and the attachments i use on the SOCR is (Gold mag, hammer compensator, gold laser sight, and compact reflex sight.)

3:01 the "Bulleye's" effect and the +30% crit rate on the crossbow are dif the pistol only gives you bulleye which is +8% vulnerability, the crossbow gives u +8% and +30% crit

You are a bit mistaken on how the Valor works. It's text is not correct, it is not a 4% chance to trigger Shrapnel, it's instead triggered on every 4th hit, and crit hits count as 2 hits. Meaning if you crit twice in a row, that triggers shrapnel.

Friendly reminder that the long axe exists as well. Just gotta heavy attack the ground for 5s of +20% damage and with final fortress mod an additional 10s of +10% damage and 10% movespeed after the first effect ends. The boss combo would look like this: throw nade>call deviant>crossbow headshot>slam ground>spray with rifle. Also rapid-fire calibration is probably better than precision for the souvenir build, assuming you can tolerate having 10, 000 rifle rounds on you at all times.

In addition to gold mods giving you 4 substats instead of three those substats can also be enhanced up to gold level instead of just purple.

Would love to see a updated power surge build, especially with the gas mask or skull mask with some of the new armour sets to use for element damage. Great vids as always.

The Cage Helmet also gives 10% shrapnel damage on top. Or it's supposed to, at least. I can't recall where exactly I've read it but I'm pretty sure the dev's mentioned it somewhere

he doesnt have it, but the best food is the legendary bread, gives 25% weapon dmg, which is by far superior for shrapnel, bounce, fast gunner builds. u find it in phase 1 in one of the buildings near some refinery. the place has lots of crops around it too. It s on the second floor above the very wide garage on the kitchen counter 😉

I haven't read over all comments as in Q and A, i just watch your steams .... as for builds and you talk about the skills that you run with or change to - do you use profile saves to change hen required. I havent tried it myself yet. If it works you could have a loadout for each type you encounter.. you are up against. Cheers

You should test sustained damage over x amount of time with both builds since cradle buffs damage when you reload anyway

The same feeling when I sat all day calculating the build for shrapnel, found everything I needed, just destroyed the dummy and was satisfied with the result...and then...and then you go on YouTube and saw this video... 😐😐😐😐😑😑😑😑
