Billy arrogantly saying "putting their boot on the neck of women" got my hackles raised so high. As a woman I took especial offense to that snide comment from him. We have documented evidence that basically everywhere it goes Christianity raises the status of women and improves their live and their overall happiness.

I don't think Billy brought up God's gender because he thought it was an important topic. He brought it up because he was losing the exchange, and he was embarrassed. He was desperate to bring anything up where he stood a chance of scoring a point. God's gender was his comfort zone. He thought it was safe for him. It turned out not to be because, bless his heart, he doesn't know anything. I'm just speculating, of course. I can't read minds. I just know people do that when they're backed into a corner. I've had it done to me many times.

GOD is beyond the concept of male and female.
However, it is blasphemous to refer to GOD as anything other than the masculine because HE in his WORD told us to refer to HIM in this manner.
It is not up to us.

More than half of people aware of this would not have known about this debate until he decided to sue everybody and make a rambling three hour live video last night of excuse after excuse as to why he did so poorly. If only he said something like “you know, that’s interesting, I wasn’t really aware of that and you’ve given me something to think about” rather than doubling down on his demonstrable false claims people might still have respect for him
