The debate between Wes Huff and Billy Carson that took place on Oct. 18th 2024 on @MarkMinard. Both Billy and Wes were notified 24hours before that we were scheduled to talk with each other, that it would be in a debate-style discussion format, and that we would be talking about Christianity and the Bible. The topic of discussion that was disclosed to all individuals involved the fact that we would be discussing Billy's public and widely dispersed criticisms and critiques regarding the Bible and Historic Christianity.

I hope Wes sees this comment. I have been an atheist that believed many of Billy's claims for my entire life. since the debate Ive been watching a lot of your content and im going to say something I have never said before. Wes has single handedly dismantled my entire world view on the Abrahamic doctrines. Not only do I realize how incorrect Ive been my entire life, I am beginning to believe the Christians may actually be right about everything. I cant believe Im saying that, but its true. Thanks Wes, for shattering my world view and setting me down on a solid foundation.

"I am a critical thinker" says moderator, then proceeds to make nearly every logical fallacy we have a name for. "I know all of these secret sources" says Billy, then proceeds to be unable to quote a single source that has even a shred of historical legitimacy. Jesus give me patience! I haven't yelled at my computer screen that much in a long time. It's a good reminder of why I am unprepared for true apologetic debates and that I have a lot of growth to do as a person as I would have called these people imbeciles and tapped out about 15 minutes in. Wes truly has the spirit of patience and long suffering...I feel that this is how Jesus must have felt when he was debating with the people of his day.
