I am a woking woman in Govt job. My husband is a house husband . He does not like to earn rather he likes to take care of home and our child. I hve no problem with it at all. In fact I think there is some sukun in my life bacause of a house husband. He is available to me 24 hrs. I hv no maid at home . My husband prepares my son for school, makes his lunch, do the cleaning and other daily course. Sometimes I think What if my husbnd starts doing a job then I will not be happy because I dont need his money but I want his time and peace of mind. I know our case is different from others. But I dont follow societal norms. I save 60% of my salary and hv no money issues. I am satisfied with my life. I think being happy is just a matter of choice.

My husband has 1 cr + package. I left my job 2 years post marriage.
We have one daughter.. I take care of cleaning/ cooking/ dropping & picking up kid from school & hobby class. Her homework.
I've never liked dependency on mediocre maids, I was earning 35+ k that time..& not happy with house functioning - dependency on maids..kind of work they do.

I've learned everything..time management & started working out.. daily routine starts with cleaning @ 5 Am.. I woke up my husband @ 6:30 & daughter at 7.

40% of meal planning & 100% cleaning is done by 8 Am.

We go on several holidays & Saturday is my rest day.. wake-up time 8 Am
don't plan what to Cook..we clean house together / cook spontaneously.. or swiggy for brunch.

I don't require house help.. because we need & can't handle odd timings of maids
