This is probably the best DIY electric bike. I am going to make a similar one, but I will use a lithium battery pack. I like that you keep the original bike transmission, so you can select gear based on the terrain for an optimum performance of the motor. Great Project! 👍👍

9.5 A motor and 7 Ah battery. At the speed of 40Km/h I your autonomy is less than 35 km. But it's great! At 1:38 good centring, you have good manual abilties!
