Andy actually showing how to crimp the dumpling! Every other video I’ve seen just seem to skim over it and shows the end result

The first time I i made gyoza, earlier this year, was after watching your long format video on them. I had been a little scared about not getting the folding technical right. Your video helped me get it right on my first attempt. Thank you so much for that 🫶🏽

Watching this brings back those lovely memories (I really was so proud of myself), and reminds me that it's time to make another batch. 😊

This is something that a lot of food content creators miss out on. I'm glad you're showing us how to do stuff like this that we otherwise might mess up

Also if you care, traditional gyoza have 6 pleats. You can do how many ever you need truthfully, but it's a technique driven dish and the 6 pleats is the number you're shooting for.

I didn't know damp towels prevent things from drying out. Thanks!

Just one more tip.

Traditionally, dumplings were made together. So, if you can, organize a dumpling making day with your loved friends and family. It's an entire day of hanging out and making dumplings while sharing tea, gossip and laughter. Bonus if you have old school school Asian dramas playing in the background. Each person is stuffed full of gyoza and also has a couple trays of gyoza to take home to their family. It's the best way to make them!

As a left-handed person, I can never get the gyoza to look presentable. However, with these clear instructions, I think its just practice. And more practice!
