In this documentary, I finally meet up with Patrick and hear his bigfoot encounter story for myself! Patrick was sleeping in his hunting blind hoping to see deer in the morning when he was harassed by an unknown creature all night long. The experience took place at the Meramec River in Missouri in a little town called "St. Clair." To my amazement, many sightings have been reported from this exact location. Patrick says he feels he was lucky to make it out alive and see the light of day again. He has since been on a quest for more answers and to confirm in his mind what he experienced that night off the Meramec River.

Very interesting! In the 60’s my family spent summers camping .from early spring until early fall whenever school started for my older brothers. When I was 3 we were camped on the Merrimack River. One day I woke up early and wandered off. I managed to fall in the river. A huge hairy beast reached in with one hand and pulled me out . I was so cold. It carried me to a place where several big hairy beasts were hanging out. They exchanged some grunts and growls. Then they did something really weird. They surrounded me and sat down with their backs to me. They all made a humming noise and suddenly I wasn’t shaking anymore. Soon I was warm and calm. They weren’t even touching me. The one that rescued me carried me back to where I could see the tents and let me go. I never knew if they were Sasquatch or not. In my mind they are “the hummers”.

I hunted an area for years and one morning before sunrise I witnessed the same thing. It roared/howled twice. Loudest, most powerful, and demonic sound I have ever heard. And it charged at my deer stand from what I estimate was about 250 yards away. It was snapping trees, etc, moving faster than a deer can run. It sounded like a bulldozer tearing down the woods coming at me. It came at me through an area that I had a hard time walking through. It moved through the area like it was nothing. It got to about 50 or 60 yards from my stand, and stopped. Woods went dead silent. I stood on my deer stand, leaning against the tree, with a 30. 06 in my hands. I had a maglite, but never turned on the light because I was afraid I might see what it that way for over an hour until sunrise. Never heard it move away. Its the only time I was afraid in the woods. My experience happened in Cub Run, Kentucky. I dont know what it was, but it made an impression on me, trust me. I thought I was about to die that night.

In a situation like that the last thing you're thinking about is taking a picture. Even if you did you'd be shaking so bad you'd drop your phone. People don't understand unless they've experienced it themselves. It's like you can literally feel the blood stopping in your veins and your breathing becomes extremely low. You're afraid to make any kind of noise. If you had to cough it would be a nightmare. All your thinking about is surviving. You are absolutely aware that you are dealing with something way more powerful than you. It's a reality check and beyond humbling. It's not about being a tough guy.. it's only about attracting zero attention to yourself. You feel like you're holding your breath and your afraid your going to suffocate. It's horrifying beyond anything you can imagine. Makes you feel like you're going to have a heart attack. Thank you for sharing your story - that takes courage 💌

Wow great story I'm 2 hours from where Patrick had his encounter I live in Southern Illinois I'm glad Patrick got to tell his story he seemed relieved to get his story out the people that laugh and make fun just because you haven't seen one or haven't had any encounters doesn't mean they don't exist.. So very true that all you can think about is survival when you encounter one and know they are there. We had never heard of them. You just don't know if you will be ripped apart, eaten alive, or left alone. But, the fear is real. We didn't have cell phones in the 60s, 70s, and early 80s. Cameras were usually tucked into a dry place until ready to use for prime photos using plastic film footages. Thank God for pocket cell phones today, and car cams.

Had my first vocal experience a week ago. I whistled in a cadence, it mimicked me to a T. Completely remote area on private land.
