How to Stop Whatsapp Temporarily Without Turning Off Your Phone

You can deactivate Whatsapp without having to turn off the phone or deactivate the internet connection.

By doing this, your friend who sends a Whatsapp chat will think that your cellphone is inactive or not connected to the internet network.

The "force stop" will stop working after opening the Whatsapp application.

I prefer doing the method below because the WhatsApp is still disable eventhough I open the app.
1. Go to setting
2. Manage apps
3. Click on WhatsApp app
4. On Restrict data usage, untick Wi-fi and Mobile data.

If I want to activate WhatsApp again, then just need to tick them again.

This method applies to other applications as well.
