If you want an alternative that has more leather options and design and is not made in China, there's Secrid, which is a Dutch brand that manufactures in the Netherlands and has a very similar mechanism. (I believe they were first actually)

In germany we call that "lockcard wallet" it is around for 2-3 years now and is a little smaller and can hold up to 50 cards, its about 1cm thick
