I also love SA1 . Just the fact that you can absolutely SPAM the spindash and it gives you a lot of speed it easily makes it my favourite

Sa2 gotta be my favorite. I love it's story and gameplay so much. The mech and speed stages are my favorites but the hunting stages are kick ass when you start to master it. The ranking system is also godlike and makes the game very addicting.

SA2. My first experience with true 3D Sonic (Sonic R was technically my first ). The music, the tone, the story, I truly adored everything about it and after a bit of time away from the franchise, I’ve come back to appreciate it even more now.

I know that people hate on Unleashed because of “werehog stages” or “metal collecting” and especially “boost formula🤓”




But biased or not unleashed is a great game actually my first sonic game ever. And the werehog stages were actually fun and no one can complain about the final boss it’s too fire.


But at the end of the day I’ll still turn into a werehog.

Sonic Generations has to be one of my 3D favorites (also one of my favorite sonic games in general). I got it on my 10th birthday and it was one of the first 3d sonic games i ever played. Still holds a special place in my heart to this day

My favorite has to be Sonic Colors & Generations, I have good memories with them to this day…and I enjoyed most of the soundtrack as well. Sonic Frontiers while has its flaws, is still becoming my favorite lol.

Sonic Heroes. It was my first Sonic game but there were so many different characters to get into and the gameplay may have been repetitive but for me its forgiven because of how unique and creative the characters and worlds were

I also share your love for Sonic Adventure 1. Easily best 3D Sonic game.

Although tied to it, Generations is also the best 3D Sonic for me. Peak boost gameplay with awesome levels, solid level design with branching paths like in the classics. The only bad thing is that it is too short, but I prefer quality over length.

Generations was my favorite game growing up with sa2 and unleashed behind it but there was something about generations that always made me want to come back and replay the same levels over and over again and find new routes through each one I wish it was a longer game but hopefully Sonic X Shadow Generations will fix that problem and give us a decently lengthy game like frontiers again

I like Sonic and the Black. Yeah it has great mistakes, but the speed passages with hack'n slay parts are so cool.

The term best is honestly kinda subjective, As a person who's played many sonic games, my top favourites are Unleashed for Reaction and speed, Rush for 2D and Frontiers for the ability to zone out, run around and find out

Sonic 3D blast is definitely in my list of 3D sonic games. It has a more classic styled gameplay, a technically impressive intro cutscene, and uses a type of 3D on the Mega drive.




In terms of things that actually are good then definitely the music
