I really like traveling. Since I’m single without children, I have had the opportunity to travel around the world. I got a scholarship to study in France, another to study in Canada, I worked as a volunteer in Holand and in Jamaica. So, I’ve found the means to travel. God has really blessed me. But some people judge me and say that I waste my money and... and... but I agree with the five reasons for travelling.

I don't have the financial resources. I'm really disappointed in this post Fr. Rob. Not everyone can afford to travel. Your last point about it's not about traveling around the world is valid and probably should have been stated first. You've been blessed to be able to talk and have your trips paid for by those who invite you.

Sorry if this is my mindset. If priests are not compensated, why is it that they have sometimes a luxurious travel. I ask this coz I sometimes doubt them. I've encountered so many corrupt priests so I hope everyone will undersrand me. I also hope that someone can help me with this. It's okay if not a priest or a nun even a lay preacher, a catechist, or an ordinary catholic can give me a word for this. God bless.
