I finished the Scythe series last month and it’s good!!!! The ending wasn’t what I expected at all. I loved however thing was tied together at the end (so confused on some of the characters until the end of why they were apart of the main story line). I recommend Scythe so much! Verity, I finished it a couple weeks ago and it’s so jaw dropping! I couldn’t believe a lot that happened in the story! Especially the end. I’m team manuscript!

I'll Give You the Sun is one of my top 5 favorites of all time. I read it at least twice a year, but really, that's not often enough for me. The style, the characters, the relationships, the way everything is tied together... it gets me every time. I'll never stop thinking about that book. Just top-notch.

Seeing Scythe making its rounds there also makes me happy. I loved this trilogy when I read it, even though I didn't love The Toll and I actually realised that despite my enjoyment of them I wasn't going to reread them so I got rid of my copies. I do plan on planning reading They Both Die at the End, and The Midnight Library, but that last one I have seen the mixed reviews and there is a decent chance I might fall on the dislike side so I may just borrow it instead. Adam Silvera is releasing a prequel to They Both Die at the End called The First to Die at the End. It's being released in October. I really enjoyed the first book but had a lot of questions about Death Cast so I am super excited for the prequel..

Ugly Love by COHO is super hyped on tiktok. I feel very much the same as you about Colleen hoover in general and It Ends With Us specifically, so I'll have to give Verity a try then.

Scythe was amazing, until the end of the third novel! It felt like he rushed the end instead of actually wrapping up the series/conflict. The first two books are fantastic and they keep you on your toes wanting to read more!

midnight library i hated they both die at the end i absolutely loved scythe i loved same with the second book but the third was dry imo firekeepers daughter i LOVED

I feel like I missed something with You’ve Reached Sam. It was just ok to me, I felt like her grief wasn’t realistically described, and I wasn’t rooting for them. But I know I’m in the minority so I think I maybe was in the wrong headspace or time of life when I read it
