Volleyball not cheer

Cheer is not just a sport for girls. Everyone can do it and it takes just as much time and effort as any other sport. I play both volleyball and cheer but just because I do cheer doesn’t mean that I’m basic, girly, or rude. On my cheer team we all encourage each other to keep fighting and to never give up. On my volleyball team we do the same. #StopThisTrend

I feel like people look down on cheer a bit too often. Imo both are hard to do since the training and coordination is intense. It seems odd when people try to act like volleyball is above cheer.


I'm not in sports nor cheer I can just appreciate the effort of a sport

I play for my school’s team as setter and everybody is like “ YoUr A gIRl Go Do ChEeR”. I’m not saying that I hate cheer it is amazing but not my type. We’ve literally made my school win in state and this is what we get. I’m the only girl on the team

Since everybody is accusing me for saying Cheer is a “basic” and “girly” thing to do. I was not at all trying to make it look like that my Intension was to just say I do volleyball not cheer.

Again I am so sorry if anybody wants me to take the video down I would be able to do that, since it’s causing people think that I don’t like cheer.
