Hi Deb, awesome coaching abilities, very, very patient! You get to know every INDIVIDUAL and what they need from you besides ski lessons. You're a very gifted person in many ways! I'm 67 and haven't had skis on in 32 YRS. If they gave gold medals for teaching you'd have one of those too!! My new boots won't be in til Sept! You're my teacher whether you want to be or not!!
Thanks Deb,
Barry White

Dear Deb, have been watching your fabulous videos and trying to teach skiing to my wife and kids. Can't thank you enough for the amazing work you have very kindly done. I've been skiing for over three decades and never seen a ski professional as brilliant and as benevolent as you are. You are THE ski professor. We would love to have a a private ski clinic with you in Vancouver Canada and will cover your travel expenses and teaching fees. Please let me know how to have a chat with you. Yours very truly, Zack

Deb, you are FANTASTIC and so MOTIVATIONAL! I’m 42 years old and put skis on for the first time two weeks ago. I’m a physical therapist and appreciate your clear and explicit instructions, relating them anatomically and bio-mechanically in a tangible way. I’ve learned so much through your videos and greatly appreciate this beginner series.

Hi Ms Deb! I love your videos! Thank you so much for sharing your expertise and genius skills on You Tube! I discovered a love for skiing last week. Born and raised in Hawaii then moved to Florida for 20 years, I didn't know what I was missing! I felt like Bambi sliding on the snow 🤣 We skied 4-5 hours a day for 3 days. I loved it! I wish I could spend the day with you, but your videos are the next best thing! I'm determined to become a very good skier before my time here is over. I'm athletic (run, swim, cycle, yoga, weights). I know I can do it! Your agility and strength videos combined with technical skills will help to get me there. Thanks again! See you on the slopes 🙃

Some of my best memories of being a ski instructor was seeing the progression from someone who skied with a wide tentative snowplough type skier to a more confident smaller wedge turn skier who could enjoy the mountain more and the views on offer rather than looking down at what they were trying to do aii the time. I do still miss those days !!

You're videos are really helping my wife and I out with our transition from snowboarding to ski's. We've been snowboarding for close to 20 years and decided this year was time for a change. We have the confidence as far as trusting that once we are on a certain edge that the ski's will take us in the intended direction, but getting those motions down and learning how to achieve those edge transfers has been the tricky part. These little exercises you have been using to work with your students have been a HUGE help! :)

Great video. You could tell Kelly was going to be great watching her walk up the hill. I especially liked that you allowed her to get familiar and comfortable with the fall-line and just let her go (quite fast) instead of always showing her how to stop. She really listened to you and stayed neutral and tall in those boots. Teacher and student both stars.

We're in lockdown again here in Germany, looks like skiing in Austria in March will have to be canceled for the 2nd time in a row - these videos are my lifeline at the moment!! Thank you so very much!!

I’ve had two beginner lessons in the past month, your videos succeed both of them, I love your way of simply explaining the moves as the student is making them, and pointing out mistakes/giving reminders as you see them, I wish I could take your lessons!

I am on my second day of skiing and these help so much! I prepared myself through watching your beginner videos, before we headed out here. Now I am already onto parallel stops, comfortable with my right side. These videos are awesome! Thank you so much Deb!

I'm amazed at how fer certified teachers teach side slipping! One of the most important things to teach you to feel what your edges are doing, and how to change it subtly to maintain control.

Thank you for sharing your teaching and your ski skills. Your videos are my reference when I want some new ideas for my ski lessons.

Great lessons! On teaching side slips, I compare the uphill ski edge to spreading frosting on a cake so it doesn’t catch.
