So, I have seen several reviews on the gauge and while it was built well but not much is able to be calibrated. Also, the gauge markers are so far away from the arrow it is hard to near impossible to make a real accurate setting. The Wood Whisperer did an excellent job pointing out some of the faults.

I bought a Harvey table saw awhile back and it came with this Miter Gauge. Love it. I never even touch my Incra Miter Gauge any more..

$350 for a miter gauge? I'll pass! Steve Ramsey actually put out a video recently on improving the "hot garbage" stock miter gauges, worth the watch!

Wow, that’s nice but you’re right it’s expensive. $360 that cost almost as much as my Dewalt 7845 DWE table saw. lol I think I might just make a sled with t-track and a Katz-Moses Stop Block. Lol 😂

It is as nice as you say it is. I just bought Harvey's 110S table saw and it came with it. It was definitely one of my deciding factors.

I bought the Incra 1000SE a few years ago and I've been very happy with it. The Harvey sure looks good. Just remember to double check the fence for clearance between blade and miter fence when making miter cuts, you don't want to cut through your fence! :)

Thanks for the review! I’ve been eyeing this miter gauge for a few weeks…

Accerut cuts. Thanks for this video. After watching this one, one by stumpy nubs and a few others I purchase this miter gauge for $270 on Black Friday. Just got it this afternoon. Haven’t been able to use it yet but out of the box I love it.

New drinking game for the week: take a shot every time Matt says "premium". 😂

Great review! 👍🏻

There were 3 major things that drove me to buy a Harvey table saw, that miter gauge being one of them. My saw should be here in a couple weeks. Can't wait.

I’m debating on this one or the powertec one

Leaning more towards this one with the compass slide table too and gonna figure out making a bigger table for my compact DEWALT saw

If harvey sent me a $360 miter gauge for free, I'd do a video on it too. Entirely too expensive for your typical home woodworker. Absolutely gorgeous piece of hardware, and I'm sure it's probably the absolute best in what it does. It's just excessively priced for those of us "getting by".
Matt....you do this craft well. Stay grounded and realize not all of your subscribers can afford a beautiful piece like that. :) Thanks for the links to the more affordable miter gauges.

Looks sweet, but I don't have any issues with my Delta miter gauge. I screw on a sacrificial fence and use a small "C" clamp and scrap of wood as a stop block. It's pretty much dead on accurate.

If I ever hit the lotto I may buy this Harvey gauge, but I don't gamble so that's not going to happen. Keep doing what you do bro, I have been watching since the beginning and am super happy for you and your wife! Blessings and love from Upstate New York ❤️💛💚

Nice video! But if you’re using a mitre gauge of Harvey quality you really should upgrade to an Igaging, Veritas, Starrett, Woodpecker, Bridge City Toolworks or similar high quality square. (Igaging is reasonably priced and good value for your dollar). Fine woodworking and nice joinery begins with quality marking and measuring tools. P.S. The Harvey now comes with a vernier scale that allows precision to 5 minute increments so that you can set to an accuracy of 1/60th of a degree! Right up there with Incra as far as accuracy but much nicer finish and quality.

This is an impressive miter gauge, to be sure, but I could never justify spending $360.00 on a miter gauge. Still, it's nice to dream. I can't justify spending $60, 000 on a pickup truck, but I still dream about owning one.

Harvey includes this miter gauge with their table saws, it is standard. I got my Harvey with this gauge for $1, 595. Take off the $350, and my Harvey for $1, 245. It is a 2 HP 110v cast iron top cabinet saw. Keep an eye out for specials and sales, I have seen it on sale before.

I love to dream or over spend on a "Cool" tool, mostly dreaming; because this tool might not make it into my shop. It's not about how fancy of a tool you have, it's being able to use it and adjust to the limitations it might have. Let the tool teach you what you both can do and then you can upgrade when it's time.
