I think I saw a tip somewhere to soak the item evenly BEFORE dyeing it. Can’t confirm where of if it is true, but maybe that helps for next time! I don’t mind the tie-dye look though, maybe you could embroider something on to shield the «worst» bits✨

Wash your clothes to remove detergent and residue with salt which will help the clothing soak up the dye from the washing machine take the wet clothing and put it into a large pot of boiling water on the stove stir constantly one item at a time until clothing is dyed thoroughly and then rinse until clear in sink. Wash with rit color stay additive. And dry.

I’m experiencing the same issue. I wanted a solid color but they’re tye dye and I weighed it down so 🤷🏾‍♀️ . I’m going to dye it again here and try to evenly soak all the parts. Wish me lick
