When I first started playing with the London, I would push that bishop, and then let it get chased all the way back to the third rank. Since then, the only time I even move that bishop to the right side of the board, is if I intend on sacrificing it to break the king's side pawn structure, very early in the game. But as I am playing more advanced players, I am finding that king's pawn coming out more often, and my opponent's queen has an early chance at causing a lot of damage. Lately, I have found it a lot better to leave that bishop at home, until mid-game.
