Although I made horrible, horrible move to take knight on h7, I am super, super happy to see our guy reviewing my game, I cannot state it enough. Thank you very much!

Two great things:
Hikaru smiling.
Hikaru moving down to my level to stuff the London into my brain.

So here we have one of the greatest players of all time sharing chess openings lessons for 29 minutes completely for free, potentially for everyone.

Let that sink in for a moment. Thank you, Hikaru.

Your method of explaining is way to the point, it is harder to understand to let's say Danya, but it is also so juicy, it is the kind of video I have to watch twice but I really enjoy the quality content.

Great series I look forward to many of them. Short sweet and right to the point.

The London is one of the most interesting openings to me. At the lower level, it’s a premoved system. At the higher levels you get all the theory and traps. It’s just cool.

Thanks for this tutorial! Im also a beginner london player and i really screw up in the late-middle game and make bad trades but with this extra knowledge i think i might be more confident! I'll try playing the london after my exams, thanks for this hikaru!

I didn't like the London before because it felt very boring to me and scary when playing black because I didn't know how to defend it, now I kinda want to try to play this opening from both perspectives 😂
Thank you so much Hikaru! ❤The best teacher of chess who understands we only have 2 brain cells to work with and he says "hold my instant coffee", and deals with it. So excited for more opening lessons!🙏🏻🔥

I love the way you expkain this stuff. Very interesting and educational. Helped me a lot. And I think a big part of helping it stick is your delivery. Like 'put the pony here, then this, this, this and this, then gobble, gobble and you are in a much better position'.

Thanks for this! I'm a beginning London Player so this is really helpful!

Dear Hikaru, thank you very much for your time and the analysis of the London system. Appreciate it. Your respectful way of teaching us without being arrogant is absolutely spot on and I saw you the first time smiling. You are now my favorite chess player. Back in the days I was a Karpov fan and never cheered for Kasparov.
Keep up the great work and lots of success for the upcoming tournaments.

Your game analysis is beyond next level! Very enjoyable to watch a Super Grand Master analyze a game at any level! Please do more of this content! Thanks!

Just started playing chess a few months ago at the age of 27. Watching both you and Levy has helped my game tremendously in just a short amount of time. Not sure if you and Levy still do sub battles but those are a great watch.
